Our Commitment

American Service Dog Institute is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards, given that a meaningful share of our handler community lives with a disability.

Conformance Standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and more usable for everyone.

What We've Built In

• A visible skip-to-content link for keyboard users
• Full keyboard operability for navigation menus and forms
• A high-contrast, consistently visible focus indicator
• Status and outcome messaging that pairs icons with text, never color alone
• Minimum 44×44px touch targets on interactive controls
• Support for reduced-motion preferences
