ASDI Independent Service Dog Skills Assessment
ASDI assessments document demonstrated skills reviewed by affiliated certified trainers. They are voluntary records—not government licenses, and not a substitute for any legal requirement under the ADA or other law.
Complete the secure online application and upload videos demonstrating individually trained task work and public-access manners under ASDI standards.
An ASDI-affiliated certified trainer reviews your submission. Approval is never automatic—only complete, qualifying work receives a favorable decision.
Approved teams receive a digital certificate, digital ID, unique 16-digit verification number, and a public verification profile. Physical items are available with Assessment Plus.
Anyone can confirm an active ASDI verification number online. Sharing credentials remains voluntary and on the handler’s terms.
An ASDI credential confirms that a dog-and-handler team completed ASDI's trainer-reviewed skills assessment and was approved by an ASDI-affiliated certified trainer. ASDI is not a government agency and does not issue government licenses. Purchasing an assessment does not guarantee approval. Live verification helps property managers and businesses confirm authentic ASDI-approved teams.
