American Service Dog Institute (ASDI) is an independent, non-governmental organization. Nothing in these Terms, or elsewhere on this site, constitutes a federal or state certification, government approval, or legal advice.

ASDI credentials document that a handler-and-dog team completed ASDI's trainer-reviewed skills assessment and was approved by an ASDI-affiliated certified trainer. ASDI is an independent organization, not a government agency, and does not issue government licenses. Live ASDI verification helps property managers, businesses, and the public confirm authentic approved teams.
The public verification tool is provided for informational purposes to confirm whether a credential number matches our internal records. We reserve the right to rate-limit, suspend, or restrict access to this tool to prevent abuse.
You agree not to misuse this site, including by attempting to circumvent security controls, scraping data at scale, submitting false information, or using the site to harass, defraud, or misrepresent credential status to a third party.
